About Us
We're the Mount Baker Chapter of the Project Management Institute. We are a chapter of about 100 members in the Whatcom County and Skagit County area of Western Washington. We meet in Bellingham monthly at the Best Western Inn on Lakeway Drive, typically on the 2d Monday of every month (except December).
About a third of our members are self-employed consultants, a third are oil industry engineers, and many are in Information Technologies. Nearly half our members hold certifications as Project Management Professionals.
At our monthly meetings we have a dinner and two programs which count for professional development units. The programs are usually presentations from working professionals describing their real-world projects.
