TWU PMP Training

Trinity Western Univerity

Trinity Western University’s Bellingham Extension announces the launch of a Project Management
Professional Program, consisting of a series of seven courses that can lead to PM Certification
if the student passes the PMI exam. We are seeking both students and instructors for
these courses, to begin in February.

Students can take only these courses and earn a PM Certificate from TWU, or, students can
apply these courses to a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership. Classes are taught on the Bellingham
campus, with each class lasting seven weeks. Students attend one night a week and one
Saturday every seven weeks. The PM Certificate Program can be finished in one year. Interested
students should contact Dr. Cynthia Gibson at Cynthia.gibson@twu.ca to schedule an
appointment for a transcript evaluation and learning plan.

Instructor qualifications are at least a Master’s degree in a related area (doctorate preferred
and transcripts required), Project Manager experience and education, demonstrated computer
literacy and proficiency, and a Christian worldview. Instructors should send a resume to Dr.
Cynthia Gibson Cynthia.gibson@twu.ca Interviews will take place on the Bellingham campus.

Instructors must be able to commit to the seven-week course: teaching one night a week for
seven weeks from 6-9:00 p.m. and one Saturday from 9-4:00 p.m. Instructors must be able to
deliver the course content in a 2/3 face-to-face environment and 1/3 online environment. Pay
for the course, if a minimum number of students (10) enroll, will be $3000 and no benefits.
